Ebbw Fawr Learning Community seeks to fill a vacancy on its Governing Body for the role of Community Governor. Ebbw Fawr educates students from the age of 3 to 16 and has a total of over 1500 on roll. The school budget is in the region of £6.5M and it employs over 170 staff operating out of new buildings following a £54M building project.
We are seeking representation from the local Community with relevant, recent experience in business, particularly in the areas of Finance, Public Relations, Human Resources or Audit.
Posts are normally held for four years in the first instance. Meetings of the Governing Body occur early evenings on four occasions throughout the year. The school also operates a sub –committee structure which meets early evenings on a half termly basis.
