Principality WRU Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Jason Strange on being awarded the Principality WRU Premiership Coach of the Year award at last nights Awards Dinner.

The award caps a fantastic year for Mr Strange who having lead the U16 team to our first national final last season followed this up with taking Ebbw Vale RFU to second place in the WRU Premiership in their first season back in the big time.

On top of this Mr Strange has also been coaching the Wales U20 Team in the recent Six Nations Junior Championship and later this week will head out to Italy for the Junior World Cup.

In a unique partnership between the WRU and a school Mr Strange has been seconded to the WRU for two days a week and for the whole of June to help prepare the U20 Team for the Championships.

We look forward to welcoming him back at the end of the month  – perhaps as a World Championship winning Coach.

Many congratulations and good luck from all at Ebbw Fawr.
