Five students from years 8 and 9 took part each Tuesday in a Football programme with Wales’ sole premiership team Swansea City FC. The course not only helped improve their football skills (and those of supervising Teaching Assistant Mr Battle!) but also addressed themes such as bullying, racism and hooliganism. The course was a great success and will rounded off with a visit to the Liberty Stadium in the next few weeks.
