Class of 2024 GCSE Results

A Proud School Community!

This year, Ebbw Fawr’s students have achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results, marking a return to pre-pandemic standards. Their resilience and determination have shone through, and these qualities will undoubtedly support them in their future careers. Despite considerable pressures, these students remained focused and determined from the start, setting a high standard for future GCSE students and truly embodying our school ethos of ‘going the extra mile.’ It’s important to note that these students had no adjustments or concessions, making their achievements even more impressive.

Headlines include:

  • The Capped 9-point score has increased by 10 points, meaning students’ best nine qualifications are now higher than ever before!
  • The percentage of pupils leaving with at least five GCSE passes has risen to 97%, our highest figure to date!

Our learners have made Ebbw Fawr Learning Community proud. The atmosphere on results day was filled with well-deserved celebration. We extend our thanks to the dedication of our teachers and the support from parents and carers, who have all contributed to these results that we can all celebrate.

As always, there were some outstanding individual performances across our community. Special recognition goes to:
