The History department in recent years organise trips to Holland & Germany to visit historical sites of importance, including visits to Auschwitz, to learn of the barbaric history and war crimes of the rise and demise of Nazi regime along with World War II memorial and battle sites such as Mametz woods. We believe that historical visits and field trips are a vital part of a child’s education when learning about the past.
