Welcome from the Head of Primary

Dear Parents & Carers,

A very warm welcome to the Primary Phase of Ebbw Fawr Learning Community 3-16.

I am very proud of the engaging, exciting and progressive curriculum and unique opportunities we can offer as part of a 3-16 all through school. All our pupils have access to specialist teaching in a range of subjects including Japanese, French, Art, Music, Drama and Design Technology as well as high quality teaching with their class teacher. Our teachers are highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring that learners achieve their full potential and thrive in a caring, stimulating and challenging environment. We are fortunate to have a new school building with state of the art facilities for all areas of the curriculum including digital competency.

As a community school working in partnership with parents is very important to us and we have a range of parental engagement and learning activities including PACT sessions and our reading café. We have a weekly playgroup for children aged 0-3 and work closely with our on-site nursery Little Stars who provide wrap around care for primary pupils of all ages.
